COIDA Household Employer Registration with the Compensation Fund
Household Employer Registration - It's official now.
The Government Gazette published on 10 March 2021 stipulates that domestic workers are now entitled to the benefits of the COID-Act.
How is this Household Registration Affecting Me?
Firstly, if you employ a domestic, gardener, driver, caregiver, nanny, etc., you would now be required to register with the Compensation Fund.
Secondly, if and when an accident occurs at the workplace, you would have to report the incident in the prescribed manner.
